  11.  I need ti run some local TCP programs, but I dont want to tie up my 
  12. modem. Right now when I type startnet, it of course ties up the modem.

  14.  What line in startnet or elswhere do I need to remove or change to leave 
  15. AmiTCP running but not using the modem. Is there a fake-serial.device I 
  16. could use or something?
